The role requires 12+ years in mechanical engineering with LV switchgear experience, advanced CAD proficiency, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience in LV switchgear or power distribution.
• Senior technical leadership across multiple programs and launches.
• Advanced CAD proficiency and design release discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the mechanical architecture strategy for LV switchgear and power distribution equipment.
• Translate requirements into scalable specifications, roadmaps, and deliverables.
• Lead system-level mechanical decisions for enclosures, busbar supports, insulation, and safety features.
• Guide design for manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability across programs.
• Provide mechanical validation planning, FEM/CFD involvement, and qualification strategy.
• Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and customers to align decisions with objectives.
