CRB, an engineering and construction firm, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC systems for new buildings, renovations and processes. You will manage the discipline scope and budget on intermediate projects, coordinating with architects, engineers, clients and contractors to deliver complete, buildable designs.

The position requires an ABET-accredited degree, 5+ years of experience, a PE in good standing, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, energy modeling, and piping systems.

Formación

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (mechanical focus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Professional Engineer registration in good standing.
• Relevant AEC firm experience.
• Intermediate experience with HVAC, mechanical utility and piping systems design.

Responsabilidades

• Designs mechanical systems of intermediate complexity in conformance with code requirements and in coordination with other design disciplines.
• Manages multiple complex tasks, establishes priorities and directs the work of others; may work independently or under supervision.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers and designers to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design.
• Develops narratives, reports and construction drawing packages and writes construction specifications.
• Supports construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch lists and progress reports.
• Plans and directs work and manages a project mechanical design budget on projects of intermediate complexity.
• Leads quality check efforts and mentors junior engineers/designers.
