Job summary

CRB is a leading provider of sustainable engineering and construction solutions. The Mechanical Engineer IV will oversee HVAC and mechanical utility design for complex projects, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients, architects and contractors across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have a PE, 10+ years of experience, and expertise in Revit/AutoCAD, energy modeling, and code compliance within life sciences or food & beverage sectors.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a mechanical focus).
• Professional Engineer registration in good standing.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design and project execution.
• Advanced experience with HVAC, mechanical utilities and piping systems design.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical/plumbing/fire/building codes.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with client and external partners.
• Leads mechanical staff in the execution of advanced projects and discipline design.
• Directs design activities across studies to construction administration.
• Oversees preparation of design calculations, reports, plans and specifications.
• Mentors junior engineers and designers and coordinates with other disciplines.

Education
