Job summary

CRB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and engineer HVAC and mechanical utilities for new buildings and renovations. You will coordinate with internal/external architects, engineers, clients, and construction teams to deliver coordinated, constructible designs.

Responsibilities include load calculations, energy modeling, design reports, P&IDs, plans, and equipment selections. Proficiency in BIM/CAD tools and strong collaboration are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (mechanical focus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in good standing.
• Experience with HVAC, mechanical utility and piping systems design.

Responsibilities

• Designs mechanical systems of intermediate complexity in conformance with code requirements and in coordination with other design disciplines.
• Directs design activities and mentors team members on projects of intermediate complexity.
• Develops construction drawings, narratives and specifications with oversight.
• Supports construction activities including RFI responses and submittal reviews.
