Kiewit is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and construction of industrial facilities. You will design and oversee mechanical systems, including biogas, water treatment, and bulk solids handling, ensuring constructability and safety.

You will mentor teams, coordinate with construction, and drive design decisions that impact project outcomes across EPC workloads. A strong background in CDU/CRAH, and related air cooling modules is highly valued.

Formación

• ABET-accredited degree in mechanical engineering.
• EIT certification required; PE preferred or willing to obtain.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience with CDU’s, CRAH, fan walls, and containment modules for air cooling.
• Experience with Design/Build/EPC projects.
• Experience leading an engineering and design team.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with hydraulics software such as AFT Fathom/Arrow.

Responsabilidades

• Provide design oversight of mechanical systems for biogas, bulk solids handling, water/wastewater treatment, and other industrial facilities.
• Lead project design calculations and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate mechanical design within multi-disciplinary teams; oversee third-party engineers.
• Review contracts and RFPs to ensure design alignment with project goals.
• Oversee budgets and schedules for all mechanical activities; manage design partners and suppliers.
• Perform technical bid analyses and generate PFDs, P&IDs, and other deliverables.
