Kiewit is seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers for our Industrial & Water Engineering group. You will design and deliver mechanical systems for complex facilities, lead design teams, and coordinate with construction to ensure builds meet safety, cost, and schedule targets.

A minimum of 10 years in industrial mechanical design is required. You will work on projects spanning biogas, water treatment, bulk solids handling, and piping, with opportunities to influence early design and field

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification required; PE preferred or willing to obtain.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering for industrial facilities.
• Experience with CDU/CRAH, fan walls, containment modules for air cooling; design/build, EPC experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide design, coordination, and oversight of mechanical systems across biogas, bulk solids handling, water/wastewater treatment, pump stations and pipeline conveyance, and other industrial facilities.
• Manage project design calculations and equipment specifications; include bulk solids conveyors, dust collection, pumps, boilers, etc.
• Coordinate and communicate mechanical design with multi-disciplinary teams; oversee third party engineering.
• Review contracts and RFPs to ensure design aligns with project goals.
• Oversee projects to meet budgets and schedules for mechanical activities.
• Manage design partners and vendors; review progress and results.
• Perform technical bid analyses for equipment and systems.
• Generate and check PFDs, P&IDs, and vendor shop drawings per standards.
