Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design efforts for complex industrial facilities. You will drive mechanical systems from concept through construction, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and construction personnel to ensure buildable, cost-effective solutions.

We expect 10+ years of relevant experience, with familiarity in CDU/CRAH, piping, and large-scale EPC projects. Remote-ready candidates may be considered; base in the Denver area preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (ABET accredited).
• EIT certification is required; PE preferred or willing to obtain.
• 10+ years of industry experience in mechanical/industrial facility design.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and oversee mechanical systems for industrial facilities (biogas, bulk solids handling, water/wastewater).
• Prepare calculations for pressurized and gravity-driven systems; select materials and ensure codes.
