Blue Origin seeks an experienced mechanical designer for Stage 1 Tanks drawings and layouts. You will maintain released drawings, balance workflow, and automate tasks. You’ll work with Creo and Windchill to manage large assemblies and apply GD&T standards while coordinating with design and analysis teams.

You should have a AS degree or equivalent and 5+ years in aerospace/related fields. Willingness to travel up to 20% and be eligible to work in the U.S. are required.

Formación

• AS degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years designing/drafting aerospace or automotive structures.
• Hands-on experience on production floor or in service.
• Creo and Windchill experience (or equivalent).
• 3-D CAD with large assemblies, tolerance stack-ups, GD&T.
• Familiarity with PDM/version control.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to FL sites.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and revise released drawings based on change requests.
• Balance tasks across Stage 1 Tanks products.
• Maintain Stage 1 Tank assembly data and automate tasks with scripts.
• Prepare design layouts, modify designs, resolve discrepancies.
• Apply drafting standards and product structure data for drawings.
• Implement standards for cost, schedule, and performance.
• Support data organization and naming standards.
• Self-prioritize work and self-schedule activities.
• Assist in drafting standards development and checking.
• Collaborate with design and analysis teams to address issues.
