Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an entry‑level CAD Drafter I to support ground systems hardware across mechanical, fluid, electrical disciplines. You will work under a senior mentor to develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and MBD datasets using Creo and Windchill, contributing to launch support equipment and tooling.

You will gain structured onboarding, tool training, and rotational projects across core disciplines, with emphasis on safety, quality, and collaboration in a diverse team.

Qualifications

• 2-year AS degree in CAD, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design or equivalent
• Foundational GD&T experience
• Familiarity with aerospace/structure/mechanical/electrical systems drafting
• Ability to read and interpret processes and specs
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detail part and assembly models and drawings with Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM
• Support Model-Based Definition datasets including 3D annotations and PMI
• Assist with mechanical/structural layouts and piping/tubing design
• Support electrical design including enclosure and cable routing
• Prepare layouts and review drawings for compliance with standards
• Participate in drawing checks during release reviews
