Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL, is seeking an engineer to develop the Transfer Stage Vehicle within Lunar Permanence. You will create layouts, detail drawings, and release datasets using Creo/PLM, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet tight aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD design or drafting.
• 4+ years in aerospace development or related field.
• Experience with Creo Parametric and Windchill.
• Understanding of fits, tolerance, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience releasing data sets using MB Definition and PLM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design layouts, create detailed drawings, and release data in CAD/PLM.
• Review drawings against specs and standards.
• Support mechanical layout and detail design for structural parts and assemblies.
• Apply standard design/manufacturing techniques to balance cost, schedule and performance.
• Manage large CAD assemblies, BOMs, and data sets.
