Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Washington State is seeking a CAD Designer/Engineer to prepare layouts, create detailed drawings, and release data using Creo Parametric and Windchill. You will review designs to meet specs, support cross-functional teams, and apply standard design methods to ensure cost-effective, timely outcomes.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in CAD & Design and 5+ years in aerospace or related fields.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD & Design required.
• 5+ years in aerospace development or related field.
• Proficiency with Creo Parametric and Windchill.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies, BOMs, and skeletons.
• Experience in designing thermal hardware is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design layouts and release data using CAD/PLM tools.
• Review drawings for alignment with specs and standards.
• Support mechanical layout and detailed design for parts/assemblies.
• Apply company design/ drafting techniques to maintain data sets.
• Contribute to cost, schedule, and performance balance.
