Job summary

RTX Corporation's Material Estimating Organization in TEWKSBURY, MA is seeking a Principal Proposal Analyst to lead the development and analysis of material proposals for development and production contracts. You will work with cross‑functional teams to evaluate costs, use estimating tools, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS.

Candidates typically hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related field with 5+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze and complete material proposals for development, production, and modifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand costs and direct costs for proposed contracts.
• Utilize estimating and pricing tools and lead the preparation of Material Basis of Estimates.
• Ensure proposals comply with FAR and internal requirements.
• Assess and implement solutions to produce thorough material packages.
• Perform detailed analyses to ensure sound material estimates.
