Job summary

RTX is seeking a Proposal Analyst to support the Naval Power estimating team and develop cost models for development, production, and competitive contracts. This on-site role requires the ability to work on-site at Raytheon facilities with a hybrid work arrangement.

The successful candidate will lead pricing strategies, develop estimates, ensure FAR compliance, and collaborate across departments to deliver thorough proposal submittals.

Qualifications

• This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and related tools.
• Experience with proposal development, cost models, price buildup, and estimating/pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Be independently responsible for the development, analysis and completion of varying proposal types including the most significant proposals in terms of complexity and company importance.
• Lead or contribute to pricing strategy development, understanding customer care-abouts, future work, affordability objectives, risks, and opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate labor, material and other direct costs for proposed contracts and programs.
• Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and develop detailed Requests for Estimates (RFEs).
• Develop Basis of Estimates, track progress, validate actuals, and ensure consistency across the program.
