Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related discipline; master's or JD preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of claims or legal experience with a proven track record.
• Insurance Adjuster license required within 90 days of hire, where applicable.
• Latent injury or high severity claims experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess coverage obligations and prepare written coverage determinations.
• Manage an inventory of the most complex claims with multi-year exposure.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by driving improvements across claims handling.
• Set and manage reserves based on coverage, liability, and damages.
• Lead negotiations and coordinate with counsel to manage complex litigation.
• Mentor and train less experienced claims professionals.
