Job summary

You will oversee coverage determinations, investigations, and resolution strategies in collaboration with internal partners and outside counsel, ensuring quality, timely service and robust reserves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Master's preferred or equivalent.
• Typically a minimum ten years of relevant experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.
• Professional designations such as CPCU are highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manages the most complex commercial claims with high loss exposure following company protocols.
• Ensures exceptional customer service and timely claims services.
• Verifies coverage, sets reserves, and estimates claim values.
• Leads focused investigations to determine compensability and damages.
• Drives resolution through collaboration with partners and authorized payments.
• Manages significant claim budgets and resources for timely resolution.
• Identifies subrogation/salvage opportunities and potential fraud referrals.
• Maintains compliance with state/local regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Presents complex information to senior leadership and counsel as needed.
• Mentors less experienced Claim Professionals and may assist with special projects.
