Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking an experienced Senior Claims professional to lead the Mass Tort Claims Unit. This individual contributor will manage the most complex, high exposure claims involving social media/AI addiction, sexual abuse, pollution, PFAS, talc and other multi-year exposure issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Master's preferred or JD preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Latent injury and/or high severity general liability claims experience strongly preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Handles the most complex, highest exposure claims in the Mass Tort Claims Unit.
• Manages coverage determinations by analyzing policy language with counsel where applicable.
• Leads negotiations and management of complex litigation and settlements.
• Sets and manages reserves with respect to coverage, liability, and damages.
• Presents high exposure matters to senior leadership and counsel.
