Job summary

Wunderman Thompson (DBA VML) is seeking an Associate Director of Martech Technology Strategy to partner with Mazda North America Operations. This role connects Mazda’s business goals to technology decisions across CDP, CRM, personalization, and taxonomy.

You will help shape recommendations and governance and work closely with delivery teams. The role requires four days per week in-office presence with travel to Mazda locations and partners as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in technology strategy or marketing technology strategy.
• Experience shaping enterprise roadmaps across multiple teams and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Martech ecosystems and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Support Mazda Martech roadmap end-to-end across CDP, CRM, personalization, taxonomy, analytics, and data engineering.
• Translate business priorities into workstream plans, requirements, and roadmap inputs.
• Develop materials to support build/buy/partner decisions across the Martech ecosystem.
• Identify risks and dependencies early and propose clear paths forward.
• Lead cross-agency work across Mazda Marketing, IT, Legal, and Analytics.
• Facilitate workshops and executive alignment sessions to turn inputs into plans.
