Job summary

VML, acting on behalf of Mazda North America Operations, seeks a Director of Martech Technology Strategy to shape the enterprise Martech roadmap. This senior, client-facing role connects business goals to technology decisions across CDP, CRM, personalization, taxonomy, and analytics.

The role requires four in-office days per week, with occasional travel to Mazda and partner locations. You will influence executive decisions and own governance standards across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Marketing/Business/Strategy or related field.
• 8+ years in tech strategy, martech, digital transformation, or enterprise platform strategy.
• Experience owning enterprise roadmaps across multiple teams and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of martech ecosystems: CDP, CRM, analytics, personalization, and data governance.
• Experience with Adobe and Salesforce marketing tools including AEP, RT-CDP, CJA, AEM, and Target.

Responsibilities

• Own Mazda Martech roadmap across CDP, CRM, personalization, taxonomy, analytics, media activation, and data engineering.
• Translate business priorities into sequenced technology strategy and fundable use cases.
• Provide clear build/buy/partner/stop recommendations across Martech ecosystem.
• Lead governance for taxonomy and audience definitions across platforms.
• Set strategic direction for CRM and personalization roadmaps across owned channels and journeys.
• Coordinate with Mazda/MNAO and ecosystem partners to align roadmaps and drive outcomes.
• Develop value realization narratives for executive forums and roadmap funding discussions.
