General Responsibilities:

The Senior Marketing Business Partner leads the marketing development within the western part of the United States for Terracon, covering Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. This role is part of the national (corporate) marketing team and reports to the CMO. The position is dedicated to elevating regional marketing practices related to pursuit development, event strategy, research, digital marketing, and more. It involves both strategic planning and hands-on support, including developing marketing materials, proposal execution, and guiding regional marketing initiatives. The role is crucial for ensuring marketing excellence and consistency across the company, working closely with senior leaders, regional directors, and the CMO to develop marketing expertise and capabilities.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Build relationships with marketing and client development teams, advising on tools, best practices, and resources (including marketing collateral, PR, CRM, and digital campaigns).
  2. Oversee consistency efforts in operations, including quality control, onboarding, training, marketing structure, and leadership development.
  3. Communicate growth strategies and marketing tactics from the national level to regional and local offices, acting as a thinking partner for marketing professionals and senior leaders.
  4. Collaborate with the corporate marketing and communications department to leverage resources in digital, PR, graphic design, etc., and guide the graphic design team to produce impactful materials.
  5. Partner with Operating Group client development teams on pursuit strategies, proposals, interview coaching, and mentorship, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  6. Train, coach, and mentor teams on pursuit coordination, team building, and goal management to improve success in major projects.
  7. Work with Operations leadership to develop marketing plans aligned with regional business and growth objectives.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert and quality reviewer for pre-sell materials, statements of qualifications, and presentations.
  9. Promote continuous quality monitoring and process improvement.
  10. Champion initiatives related to client development and marketing.
  11. Stay updated on research, trends, and industry topics, providing regional market data and insights.
  12. Organize and track national thought leadership and award efforts.
  13. Develop understanding of project risks and company policies to mitigate potential issues.
  14. Assist the M&A team with marketing perspectives and lead marketing tasks in acquisition integration plans.
  15. Lead safety efforts, ensuring adherence to safety rules and promoting a safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • Must reside in one of the specified western states.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, with 12 years of related experience, or 16 years of experience without a degree.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification:
  • Certified Professional Services Marketer

This is a "Remote Only" position, with employees working from home or other locations without a designated office workspace.

The salary range is $101,200-$156,900, adjustable based on location, qualifications, and experience.
