General Responsibilities:

The Senior Marketing Business Partner leads the marketing development within the western part of the United States for Terracon, covering Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. This role is part of the national (corporate) marketing team and reports to the CMO. The position is dedicated to elevating regional marketing practices, supporting pursuit development, event strategy, research, and digital marketing. It involves both strategic planning and hands-on support for marketing communications, proposals, and pursuit execution, aiming for marketing excellence and consistency across the company.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Build relationships with marketing and client development teams, advising on tools, best practices, and resources, including marketing collateral, PR, CRM, and digital campaigns.
  2. Oversee consistency efforts in operations, including quality control, onboarding, training, and leadership development.
  3. Communicate growth strategies and marketing tactics developed at the national level to regional and local offices.
  4. Partner with the corporate marketing and communications department to leverage digital, PR, graphic design, and other resources.
  5. Collaborate with client development teams on pursuit strategies, proposal development, interview coaching, and mentoring, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  6. Train, coach, and mentor teams on pursuit coordination, team building, and goal setting.
  7. Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional business and growth objectives.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert in developing pre-sell materials, statements of qualifications, and presentations.
  9. Monitor and promote continuous quality improvement in projects and processes.
  10. Stay informed on industry research, trends, and topics, providing regional market data.
  11. Organize and track national thought leadership and award initiatives.
  12. Understand project risks and assist in risk mitigation strategies according to company policies.
  13. Support M&A integration efforts with marketing insights and tasks.
  14. Lead safety initiatives, ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Residency within one of the specified western states.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, with 12 years of related experience, or 16 years of experience without a degree.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification:
  • Certified Professional Services Marketer
