Dover Food Retail seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence in the Conyers, GA facility. You will lead Lean deployments and Kaizen events across assembly and fabrication areas, solving complex manufacturing issues with PFMEA and Poka-Yoke tools.

You will oversee capital projects, automate and reconfigure processes, and partner with design teams to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering with 7+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred and practical use of Kaizen, 5S and visual management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with capacity planning experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead OpEx deployment focusing on Standard Work, Leader Standard Work, and Tier Accountability.
• Plan and drive Kaizen events to eliminate waste and improve cycle time.
• Apply PFMEA and Poka-Yoke to identify and prevent defects.
• Perform line balancing and headcount/work-content calculations for efficient capacity.
• Manage CapEx projects from justification to installation and handover.
