Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Manager, Production in Conyers, GA to lead a 260+ person manufacturing team across multiple shifts. You will own safety culture, schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating with Supply Chain to minimize bottlenecks and maximize line efficiency.

The role requires a strong Lean/Six Sigma background, ERP/MRP proficiency, and leadership of 5 Production Supervisors. Competitive benefits are offered with a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 10+ years in manufacturing leadership considered in lieu of degree.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience managing 200+ headcount and leading supervisors/leads.

Responsibilities

• Champion Safety First culture and integrate safety into daily production.
• Own daily/weekly schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Planning and Logistics to prevent bottlenecks.
• Drive KPI accountability: Efficiency, Scrap Rate, First-Time Yield, Plan vs. Actual.
