Job summary

Dover Corp in Conyers, GA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence across assembly, fabrication and electrical panel assembly. You will lead Lean deployment, Kaizen events, capital projects and automation initiatives to improve quality, productivity and cost.

The role requires a strong background in Lean Six Sigma, DFMA collaboration with design teams, CapEx management, line balancing and strong communication to lead cross-functional teams through major

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean deployment and sustainment across assembly, fabrication, and electrical panel areas.
• Plan, lead, and execute Kaizen events to eliminate waste and improve cycle times.
• Apply PFMEA, Poka-Yoke, and DMAIC tools to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
• Perform line balancing, work content calculations and headcount planning for capacity needs.
• CapEx management from justification to installation, ROI/NPV analysis and vendor selection.
• Lead automation and technology initiatives within focus factories for safety and quality.
• Drive area transformations and plant reconfigurations for new product introductions.
• Collaborate with Design/Product Engineering on DFM and cost improvement initiatives.
