Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence across assembly, fabrication, and electrical panel assembly. You will lead major factory transformations, manage capital expenditure projects, and embed Lean methodologies to improve productivity, quality, and costs.

The role requires a strong technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering, experience with Lean Six Sigma, PFMEA, and Kaizen, plus the ability to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience leading Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Proficiency with OpEx tools and Kaizen events.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of Operational Excellence (OpEx) model across areas.
• Plan, lead Kaizen events and rapid improvement projects.
• Use PFMEA and Poka‑Yoke to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform capacity planning, line balancing, and headcount calculations.
• Direct major CapEx projects from concept through installation.
• Drive automation initiatives and new technologies.
• Lead area transformations and layout changes.
• Collaborate with Design teams for manufacturability and cost improvements.
