Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence across assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and electrical panel assembly. You will lead major factory transformations, manage CapEx projects, and embed Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve productivity, quality and cost targets.

The role emphasizes change leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic problem-solving to sustain improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role in fast-paced environments.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred; strong problem-solving and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead OpEx deployment focusing on Standard Work, Leader Standard Work and Tier Accountability.
• Plan, lead Kaizen events and rapid improvement projects to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Manage CapEx projects from justification through installation and handover; oversee automation initiatives.
• Apply PFMEA, 8D, DOE and other tools to resolve high-impact manufacturing issues.
