Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Production Manager in Conyers, GA to lead safety-first manufacturing operations across a multi-shift environment, approximately 280 team members. You will ensure adherence to the production schedule while optimizing labor and plant flow, driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing, with a focus on safety, scheduling, and KPI accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 10+ years of leadership in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma or TPS background with track record of driving improvements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Plex) and MES is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture with daily floor walks, JSA, and PPE compliance.
• Own daily/weekly schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Directly manage 5 Production Supervisors and ~260–280 team members.
• Drive OpEx, SW/LSW, and Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Oversee labor planning, headcount, overtime, and staffing adjustments.
