Job summary
Dover Corp is seeking an Industrial & Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence in Ball Ground, GA. You will lead time studies, line balancing, and facility layouts, supporting the adoption of new manufacturing technologies and automation.
The role focuses on improving throughput, quality, and cost while collaborating with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to enable successful product introductions and manufacturing improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering-to-order manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct time studies, work sampling, labor analysis, and line balancing to improve throughput.
- Lead design of manufacturing layouts, tooling, and workstations for efficiency.
- Manage capital equipment projects from justification through production launch.
- Support automation initiatives and advanced manufacturing technologies.
