Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Sentry line to drive the transition of electromechanical products from NPI to high-volume production. You will own DFM/DFA, establish scalable supply chain processes, and lead cross-functional collaboration with design, quality, and production teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electromechanical hardware, strong project leadership, and experience with PLM/ERP systems.

Qualifications

Requires a technical degree in engineering, math, or hard science.
5+ years in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
Demonstrated ability delivering electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
Experience integrating large/complex assemblies.

Responsibilities

Lead transition of new electromechanical products from NPI to high-volume production, optimizing DFM/DFA and scalable supply chain processes.
Drive continuous improvements in existing lines, resolving issues, increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving quality.
Design and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize throughput and maintain high quality.
Lead and manage installation, commissioning, and validation of new manufacturing systems and equipment.
Identify and implement automation and integrated workflows to boost production capacity.
Develop detailed manufacturing process flows and SOPs, ensuring standardized production.
Coordinate with contract manufacturers across disciplines to ensure high-yield, on-time delivery.
Travel to suppliers/CMs to resolve issues and drive quality improvements.
Provide DFM/ DFA feedback to engineering to optimize mass production.
