Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. You will own portions of the manufacturing value chain, develop tooling for fabrication, and translate complex assemblies into streamlined sub-processes while ensuring quality and scalability.

You will collaborate with contract manufacturers, hands-on build prototypes, and document work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
• Experience delivering hardware in resource-constrained environments.
• Experience leading teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for products.
• Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly.
• Create process flows by breaking down assemblies into sub-processes.
• Write work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to enable quick-turn and scale.
• Work hands-on with technicians to build prototype hardware.
• Contribute to mechanical/electrical design and interconnects.
