Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Sentry Manufacturing team in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on transitioning electromechanical products from NPI to production, refining DFMA processes, and supporting robust manufacturing workflows.

You will partner with Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Operations, Software, and Program Management to ensure on‑time delivery, process optimization, and reliable high‑quality output across supplier networks.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
• Experience delivering electromechanical hardware in constrained resources.
• Familiarity with integrating assemblies/subassemblies.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in configuration management and change control.
• U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Support transition of new electromechanical products from NPI to production.
• Contribute to DFM and DFA to establish robust manufacturing processes.
• Improve existing production lines and processes through engineering support.
• Design, implement, and optimize efficient manufacturing processes.
• Assist in installing and validating new manufacturing systems.
• Identify and implement automation to streamline workflows.
• Develop detailed manufacturing process flows and SOPs.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Travel to suppliers to resolve production issues.
• Provide DFM/DFA feedback to engineering teams.
• Maintain PLM data and BOM management within systems like Teamcenter
