Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its EW Production team to own parts of the manufacturing value chain, including Assembly, Integration & Test for electro-mechanical assemblies. You will drive continuous improvement, lead Kaizen events, and partner with Product Quality Engineering on RCCA burndowns.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering on DFx for smooth NPI transitions, develop process flows, and document work instructions for scale.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical field preferred such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
8+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to the delivery of electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.).
Experience with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle (ERP) or equivalents.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain that includes Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T).
Contribute to operational excellence with a strong continuous improvement mindset and leading Kaizen events.
Be a strong partner with Product Quality Engineering to drive RCCA burndowns for EW Production issues.
Collaborate with Design Engineering teams to provide DFx for smooth NPI transitions.
Develop process flows, breaking down large assemblies into subassemblies and sub-processes.
Write work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc., for manufacturing at scale.
Work with contract manufacturers to develop repeatable processes for quick-turn development and at-scale production.
Hands-on work with technicians and engineers to build prototype hardware.
Contribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design including interconnects and board fabrication/inspection.
