Job summary
Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own parts of the manufacturing value chain for electro-mechanical assemblies. Qualifications
- Degree in a technical field.
- 8+ years in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
- Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
- Experience with machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly.
- Experience with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM) or Oracle (ERP).
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and learning.
Responsibilities
- Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for AI&T of electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Lead continuous improvement with Kaizen events.
- Support RCCA burndowns with Product Quality Engineering.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering for DFx during NPI transitions.
- Develop process flows by breaking large assemblies into subassemblies and sub-processes.
- Write work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers for repeatable, scalable production.
- Work hands-on with technicians and engineers, building prototype hardware.
- Contribute to hardware design, interconnects, and board fabrication.
