Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for an on-site Glendale, AZ plant. You will lead on-shift controls support, diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD issues, and drive automation improvements on high-speed beverage lines.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong ladder logic skills (Allen-Bradley), and mentoring responsibilities. Includes relocation assistance and a 12-hour day rotation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial automation on high-speed lines.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 on-shift controls support in the plant.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues and restore production.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
