VSE Aviation is seeking a Manager of Supplier Quality to lead supplier performance, drive MRB activities, and ensure QMS compliance across the supply chain. This role champions the voice of the customer, leads audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on reducing defects and enhancing performance.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering/quality degree with 7+ years of technical experience including 4+ years in leadership, and extensive experience with ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field; or 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• 7+ years of relevant/technical work experience with at least 4 years in leadership.
• Audit experience/certification, particularly with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100/AS13100.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Risk Management, and Supplier Performance Management.
• Ability to travel to VSE facilities, suppliers, and customer sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Responsabilités

• Lead supplier performance evaluations and strategic sourcing decisions.
• Oversee MRB activities and supplier corrective actions.
• Audit programs to ensure ISO/AS standards compliance.
• Guide Field Quality Engineers and coordinate quality clinics.
• Lead internal and third-party audits for regulatory compliance.
• Manage work transfers and special processes in VSE supply chain.
• Develop and implement QMS processes and document control.
• Monitor quality metrics and drive improvements in cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Report supplier performance to senior leadership.
• Act as Voice of the Customer across departments to align quality objectives.
