Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a Manager, Supplier Development Engineering - EMS & Electronics. This hybrid role can be located at Beachwood, OH; Charlotte, NC; Detroit/Jackson, MI; Menomonee Falls, WI; Moon Township, PA; Peachtree City, GA; or Raleigh, NC.

Relocation benefits are provided within the United States and travel up to 50% is required. You will lead a team of Supplier Development Engineers to build supplier manufacturing capability, capacity, scalability and operational

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
Minimum of eight (8) years in supplier development, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, operations, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute supplier development strategy for regions, commodities, or business segments.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers.
Provide oversight of supplier capability, manufacturing, and capacity risk assessments.
Drive manufacturing excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools.
Ensure supplier readiness for new product introductions, launches, and transfers.
Establish governance and performance metrics for supplier development activities.
