Job summary

PayPal seeks a Senior Manager, SEC Reporting to lead the preparation and review of Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC rules and driving the filing calendar.

This role partners with Controllership, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, and Internal Audit to deliver accurate disclosures, improve reporting processes, and guide executive leadership on material accounting matters.

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active CPA, with a Big 4 public accounting foundation combined with external reporting and accounting policy experience at a large public company.
• Experience designing, documenting, and operating SOX internal controls and disclosure controls over the external reporting process, including coordinating with Internal Audit and external auditors.
• Experience preparing Disclosure Committee, Audit Committee, or other executive‑level materials, with the judgment to calibrate technical detail to the audience and strong presentation‑building skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PayPal business leaders and wider PayPal finance organization on accounting and reporting matters
• Drive accounting support within finance transformation work programs and other process enhancements
• Provide accounting expertise and leadership to finance and business organizations
• Consult with business partners regularly to ensure awareness of significant transactions and potential accounting impact
