Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Senior Manager, SEC Reporting in Scottsdale to lead the preparation and review of Form 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks, ensuring US GAAP and SEC compliance. You will drive the annual and quarterly filing process, mentor staff, and optimize disclosure workflows across Controllership, Tax, FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations.

The role requires a CPA with Big 4 experience and deep SEC knowledge, including SOX controls and external reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Active CPA with Big 4 background and external reporting experience at a large public company.
• Experience preparing Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K for a large accelerated filer.
• Experience designing and operating SOX internal controls and disclosure controls.
• Experience coordinating with Legal, HR, Investor Relations and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PayPal business leaders and wider PayPal finance organization on accounting and reporting matters.
• Drive accounting support within finance transformation work programs and other process enhancements.
• Provide accounting expertise and leadership to finance and business organizations.
• Consult with business partners regularly to ensure awareness of significant transactions and potential accounting impact.
