Job summary

PayPal seeks a strategic and hands-on VP, Corporate Controller to lead our global accounting and financial reporting organization as we continue to scale. This senior finance leader will oversee SEC reporting, partner with Investor Relations, set global technical accounting policy, and provide oversight across accounting teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license or equivalent.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience including public company reporting.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SEC and external financial reporting including 10-K/10-Q/8-K filings.
• Lead global policy, accounting standards, and technical accounting guidance.
• Own sustainability/ESG reporting and data governance.
• Manage consolidated financial statements and close processes.
• Build and mentor a high-performing global accounting organization.
