Job summary

PayPal is seeking a strategic and hands-on VP, Corporate Controller to lead our global accounting and financial reporting organization. You will own SEC reporting, set global accounting policy, and oversee ESG reporting across geographies while guiding product, credit, and corporate cost accounting teams.

You will partner with Investor Relations and the Board, driving high-quality external disclosures and continuous improvement across the close process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• Public company accounting/reporting experience, Big 4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SEC reporting and external financial reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy).
• Lead quarterly and annual close, liaise with auditors.
• Set global technical accounting policy across geographies.
• Own sustainability/ESG reporting data governance and disclosure.
• Provide oversight of accounting for processing & credit products, operating expenses.
