Primary Recruiting Services in Miami seeks an experienced SEC reporting professional to lead the preparation, review, and filing of 10-K/10-Q and related external disclosures. You will drive timelines, coordinate across Finance, Legal, Tax, Investor Relations, and with external auditors.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in public accounting or a large public company, deep U.S. GAAP/SEC knowledge, and a track record of process improvement in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 6+ years in public accounting and/or large publicly traded company.
• Strong SEC reporting experience (10-K/10-Q).
• Manager level or senior ready for management.
• U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements knowledge.
• Experience coordinating external financial reporting materials.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting workstreams and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Experience with external auditors and senior leadership.
• Cross-functional collaboration across Accounting, Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and other business functions.
• Process improvements and reporting efficiencies.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, annual report, and other external financial disclosures
• Manage quarterly and annual SEC reporting timelines, coordinate deliverables across the organization, and drive reporting matters through completion
• Prepare and review supporting schedules, financial reporting documentation, disclosure checklists, and other filing materials
• Coordinate reporting inputs to ensure accurate and timely filings
• Research U.S. GAAP, SEC requirements, new accounting standards, regulatory developments, and peer-company disclosures to support financial reporting conclusions
• Support the quarterly earnings process and the company's disclosure controls
• Partner with Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations, Internal Audit, external auditors, and finance teams across the organization
• Drive continuous improvement across the reporting process by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and improve accuracy and efficiency
• Balance recurring SEC reporting responsibilities with special projects and other financial reporting initiatives
