Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of Salesforce and software engineers. You will drive the technical vision across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs, delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions.

You will mentor engineers, advance Agile practices, and collaborate with Product, Security, and Executive Leadership to translate strategy into technical outcomes, while ensuring quality and security across platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on development.
• 2+ years leading or developing software teams in Agile, cloud-first environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Flow, Sales/Service Cloud).
• Broader engineering background in full-stack/backend development (Java/Node.js/Python, microservices).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using MuleSoft/Workato or cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

• Strategic technical vision across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs.
• Oversee Salesforce core architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud, Experience Cloud).
• Lead development of modern solutions beyond CRM, incl. microservices and APIs.
• Architect high-volume CC-Sales workflows and omni-channel integrations.
• Drive Agile practices, backlog refinement, sprint execution, code reviews and architecture sessions.
