CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for the GPS Salesforce platform.

You will lead complex Salesforce initiatives across Service Cloud, shaping architecture and engineering standards while partnering with architects, product owners and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development with hands-on Salesforce experience including Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and dashboards.
• 1+ years of Lightning Web Components development.
• 4+ years delivering complex enterprise Salesforce implementations with integrations and platform customization.
• 4+ years Hands on experience with Git based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• 5+ years’ experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior technical lead for the GPS Salesforce platform, owning solution design and engineering standards.
• Ensure solutions comply with healthcare regulations (HIPAA) and security standards.
• Partner with architects, product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Optimize performance, scalability and reliability for high-volume enterprise data and mission-critical workflows.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and enforce best practices.
• Develop using Apex, Triggers, LWC and Visualforce to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
• Customize Salesforce using declarative tools like Flow and triggers.
• Architect custom and standard Salesforce data models, including objects, relationships, sharing rules, roles, and field level security.
• Implement event-driven and API-based integrations using REST, SOAP and Bulk; integrate with MuleSoft.
• Lead ETL, data migration, and large-volume data processing initiatives.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and source-driven development using GitHub Actions and enterprise DevOps best practices.
• Design optimization strategies for performance and manage governor limits for high-scale apps.
• Build AI agents and intelligent workflows using Salesforce AI capabilities.
