Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of Salesforce and software engineers. You will architect scalable, cloud-native solutions that integrate Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud, while driving API integrations and automation.

You'll partner with Product, Security, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to translate strategy into actionable engineering deliverables and foster an Agile culture with continuous delivery and high quality

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering
• ~2+ years managing or developing software engineering teams in Agile, cloud-first environments
• Salesforce Proficiency: Deep technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Flow, Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud)
• Broader Engineering Stack: Full-stack or backend development (Java, Node.js, Python, microservices, REST/GraphQL)
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external apps using MuleSoft/Workato or cloud-native APIs
• Domain exposure in Contact Center/Telesales, Marketing automation, or Partner/Outreach platforms
• Salesforce Certifications: System Architect, Application Architect, or CTA track
• Cloud & Modern DevOps: Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Copado, SFDX)
• AI & Intelligent Automation: Experience with AI capabilities in CRM/outreach
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software and Salesforce engineers delivering scalable solutions
• Drive Agile/Scrum practices, backlog refinement, sprint execution, code reviews
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, Marketing, Sales Ops, and Exec Leadership to turn strategy into deliverables
• Oversee DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD, and Salesforce governor limit optimization
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI/automation capabilities into the platform
• Ensure security, data governance, and regulatory compliance
