Job summary

Flourish Health is seeking a Senior Manager of People Operations to lead and scale our People Ops function in a remote, US-wide setting. You will oversee employee relations, benefits, HRIS administration, leave management, and multi-state compliance, while building a strong HR team.

You will manage complex employee relations issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive data-driven people strategies. A strategic yet hands-on leader committed to mental health work is ideal.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR.
• At least 3 years in a people management role.
• Extensive experience managing complex employee relations, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.
• Expert knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other leave management programs.
• Deep expertise in multi-state employment law compliance and risk management.
• Demonstrated success scaling HR operations in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
• Build and scale the People Ops function to support organizational growth and health.
• Be hands-on while delegating and training team members as the team expands.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in People Ops processes and systems.
• Oversee benefits administration across multiple organizations and year-to-year renewals.
• Oversee HRIS and ATS administration, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
