Job summary

Flourish Health is seeking a Senior Manager of People Operations to lead and scale our HR function in a remote, US-wide environment. You will oversee employee relations, benefits, HRIS/ATS, and compliance, mentoring a growing team while aligning with our mission to deliver mental health care access.

You will partner with leadership to implement policy, improve processes, and mitigate risk across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in People Operations or HR with at least 3 years in a people management role.
• Extensive experience managing complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.
• Deep expertise in multi-state employment law compliance and risk management.
• Experience scaling HR operations in a growing organization (mid-size to large company preferred).
• Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, and leave management programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
• Build and scale the People Ops function to support organizational growth and health.
• Be consistently hands-on while strategically delegating and training team members to take ownership of key functions as the team expands.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, regularly assessing and optimizing People Ops processes and systems.
• Oversee employee relations matters including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.
• Oversee FMLA administration, ADA accommodation requests, and other leave management programs across all organizations.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices, policies, and employee files to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Act as an escalation point for sensitive or high-stakes employee situations.
• Oversee benefits administration across multiple organizations, ensuring competitive and compliant offerings.
• Lead open enrollment processes and serve as escalation point for complex benefits issues.
• Oversee HRIS and ATS administration, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
• Develop and track key People Ops metrics to inform strategic decisions.
