Job summary

Deloitte seeks a Senior Manager in M&A Strategy & Diligence focused on Private Equity, guiding fast-paced diligences from thesis to close. You will translate complex data into IC-ready insights, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and drive value creation through strategic and operational diligence in competitive deal environments.

You will manage engagement economics, partner with senior clients, and help shape deal strategy across buy/sell scenarios while producing high-impact deliverables.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in M&A or M&A service delivery, including strategy and diligence engagements
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage engagements
• Strong financial statement literacy and experience with complex models
• Experience with portfolio reviews, buy-side/sell-side diligence, and integration planning

Responsibilities

• Sell, lead, and deliver complex strategic engagements for inorganic growth and value creation
• Partner with PE clients on portfolio evaluation and opportunities
• Manage day-to-day executive interactions and contribute to proposal development and pricing
• Own deliverables reflecting high standards of analysis and insights
• Mentor staff and promote knowledge sharing within the team
• Develop point-of-view documents and participate in public speaking or publications
