Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Manager in M&A Strategy & Diligence focused on Private Equity. You will lead fast-paced diligences from thesis to close, translating messy data into clear, IC-ready insights and driving value creation, synergy planning, and integration readiness.

You will manage engagements with private equity clients, partner with senior executives, and mentor junior staff while shaping deal strategy and execution in a competitive deal environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of M&A or M&A service delivery experience in strategy/ diligence engagements for mid-market PE clients and portfolio companies.
• Experience leading strategy and diligence engagements including commercial and operational diligence.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior executives and define engagement scope, plan and budget.
• Ability to mobilize and manage multiple engagement teams and deliverables on time and with high quality.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to present complex analyses clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage senior-level engagements with PE clients on buy-side and sell-side opportunities.
• Evaluate portfolio company operations to identify issues and deploy value-creation solutions.
• Develop and present project deliverables reflecting high-quality analysis.
• Mentor staff and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Manage engagement economics and risk while ensuring on-time delivery.
