Job summary

BDO USA seeks an Experienced Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead full lifecycle engagements, manage staff, review final work, and drive portfolio financial performance. You will regularly meet with clients to discuss metrics, billing, and opportunities for added value.

You will guide discovery, design integrated solutions, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely billing across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field required.
• MBA or Masters in Accountancy preferred.
• 7+ years of general accounting experience and supervisory exposure preferred.
• CPA certification preferred and GAAP knowledge demonstrated.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees full life-cycle of outsourced finance and accounting engagements.
• Reviews and ensures accurate general ledger reconciliations and financial statements.
• Leads discovery meetings, designs integrated client solutions and pricing.
• Manages project scope, budgeting, milestones and engagement profitability.
• Supports change management and maintains strong client communications.
• Supervises Senior Associates and Associates; ensures timely billing and quality deliverables.
