Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking a Senior Manager, Litigation Docketing to lead the US docketing function. You will direct a centralized team across offices, ensure accurate deadlines, and optimize workflows, with hybrid work and occasional in-office attendance.

You will partner with legal support leadership to align docketing with the firm’s litigation strategy, oversee systems, and drive continuous process improvements while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of docketing, calendaring, or case management in a law firm.
• Alternative: 10 years of relevant docketing/operational experience and 3+ years leading staff.
• Experience supporting litigation practices across multiple jurisdictions and offices.
• Knowledge of federal, state, appellate, and administrative court rules.
• Strong expertise with Milana docketing software.
• Advanced ability to interpret court rules and perform complex deadline calculations.
• Demonstrated leadership, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the firm’s US litigation docketing function.
• Establish and improve docketing procedures, workflows, and training resources.
• Monitor court rule changes and keep processes current.
• Assess staffing, workflows, and service levels to improve efficiency and continuity.
• Partner with legal support leadership to align docketing with the firm’s strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a docketing team and manage performance.
