Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning & Development to champion enterprise-wide development, set strategy, and drive training initiatives that elevate organizational capability and performance.

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Organizational Development, you will partner with executives and business units to design, implement, and govern programs across the organization, ensuring measurable outcomes and scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of learning and/or leadership development experience including developing, implementing and delivering training.
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Education, Business or a related field
• Experience leading large-scale or enterprise learning/leadership development programs and initiatives
• Experience managing projects, priorities, resources and budgets across multiple workstreams
• Experience leading, coaching or supervising team members, project teams or cross-functional contributors
• Experience performing in a fast-paced environment with measurable results
• Proficient with MS Office Suite; tech-savvy; agility in learning new systems and software
• Construction industry experience (or manufacturing, engineering, or construction adjacent) preferred
• Experience with course authoring tools (Articulate 360 including Rise & Storyline, Camtasia) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of learning strategy, priorities and solutions aligned to business and organizational capability needs
• Design and develop learning and leadership development programs, curriculum, and instructional materials in partnership with subject matter experts and external vendors
• Collaborate with L&OD and the extended Learning and Development team to leverage existing resources, learning technologies and LMS capabilities
• Monitor training activities, manage content and recommend solutions based on business needs
• Ability to measure the effectiveness for L&OD programs and use insights to improve impact, efficiency and learner experience
• Partner with the Head of L&OD and business leaders on initiatives related to assessment, development, talent planning, succession support and career pathing
• Lead key learning programs, including planning, prioritization, scheduling, resource coordination and budget oversight
• Manage internal and external resources to support the development and delivery of training
• Support ad hoc projects and organizational initiatives as needed
• Travel as needed to regional offices, jobsites, meetings, and training events- ~ 30%
